Welcome to my website. I hope that you enjoy the photos as much as I enjoy the experience of taking them.

I am a self-taught photographer who moved to Boulder, Co. in 2001. Born in Scotland, I lived in several countries, before settling in New Jersey. There I taught French for over 20 years. My many trips to France with students inspired me to make a photographic record of my impressions and experiences.

Photography became a passion when I joined a club in N.J. and benefited from being part of a community of talented photographers.

Having retired to Colorado, I now have the time and opportunity to indulge my passion. As you will see on my website, I am interested in many different subjects. I think it is the way the light falls on the subject which first draws my attention. Then I work on composition, doing most of the cropping with the camera.

I love the beauty of the changing seasons, whether I'm waiting for the appearance of the first spring flowers or for the arrival of fall with its excitement of changing colors. Winter here has its own stark beauty and I relish a cold, clear morning after a fresh snowfall.

I have been lucky enough to spend several summers at the Jersey shore and have included some of my shore impressions. The few Oregon photos I have included pay tribute to a recent stay on that misty coast.

Prices

All photos are available as greeting cards, with envelopes or as mounted enlargements, ready for framing.

Greeting cards, which are blank inside, are made in house with a 4X6 print and mounted on high quality card stock. Request a free sample. Please order greeting cards in sets of 6 for $15. Select same photo for all six cards, or mix & match by season.

All photos are sold matted and with a back, ready for framing. I use a selection of mat colors, which enhance the photo. You may request a white mat, if you prefer.

Special note: some photos are available, printed on canvas, stretched and mounted, ready for hanging. The close-ups of aspen trunks are particularly pleasing, with this treatment.

We use PayPal to process your orders and to protect you. You can sign up with PayPal or pay with a credit card at PayPal. Also, you can change the quantity of any of the items you order at PayPal, just type in a new quantity and click "Update Cart".

Packaging & shipping

We ship U.S. Postal. Express delivery is available; ask about rates. Photography is carefully packaged in padded envelopes or in boxes with bubble wrap.
